Volunteer

You may ask yourself “why should I volunteer?” or perhaps more specifically “what do I have to offer seniors?”   Well, it’s a lot simpler than you think!

  • What are your hobbies?
  • What are your strengths?
  • What do you do in your day to day life already?

It’s usually just that simple! Bring your day to day life in to our lodge...your hobbies, talents or personality, and we’ll likely be able to find a place to use it!  As is each person’s tendency, we have a way of getting comfortable (or perhaps even stagnate) in what we are familiar with. Seniors do that too! Sometimes, they may not realize they share your love of a particular hobby until you come and share it with them! Sometimes, it’s a hobby they’ve always loved, but they’ve discontinued it because they’ve no one to share it with.
